Polpo Classico Damplo — Il Precursore
Before it became famous in Melbourne.
The original Damplo octopus version, served in Mineo since 2016 before Ciccio decided to take it to Australia with macadamia cream. Here the octopus is seared on lava stone and served with vineyard extra virgin oil, Sicilian lemon and Pantelleria capers. No tentacle is named. Simplicity, in this case, is the real pretension.
